Cerko was established in Gdansk in 1999. The company specialises in manufacturing of dermocosmetics intended for care of dry, sensitive skin prone to excessive scaling and with tendency to hyperkeratosis. Formulations are carefully designed and are based on years of experience, knowledge in the field and current scientific literature. Cerko products are manufactured from high quality raw materials, do not contain dyes and fragrances and are not tested on animals. Dermocosmetics are available in pharmacies and on the Internet.

Cerko products have the required research on effectiveness and safety, and are registered on the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal.

The knowledge concerning the demand on the dermatological market is gained throughout the years and originates from the most demanding recipients – dermatologists and allergists, who frequently recommend Cerko products to their patients.

Owing to the cooperation with science and technology institutions, Cerko is able to produce subsequent products in the laboratories of Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia.

New directions of development are connected with manufacturing of analytical equipment dedicated to pharmaceuticals, food and environment. The great achievement of Cerko was launching microtitration apparatus: Cerko Lab System, on the Polish market in 2005.

Cerko Lab System is an innovative modular system intended for scientific research in industry, universities or in quality control laboratories. The system may include potentiometric, conductometric or amperometric module and it may be configured to the needs of the recipient. For example, a dosing module may serve the function of microburette and/or a syringe pump.

In 2008 Cerko Lab System Spectrophotometry was elaborated with intention to perform spectrophotometric titration. A multichannel system, a new product, is used for pH registration and/or ions concentration.

The achievements of Cerko company are presented on numerous summits, conferences and in technical magazines.

Since 2008 master and doctorial theses are undertaken in the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park laboratories.

In order to develop dynamically in this specific field, the Scientific Board was instituted in November 2005 to control and further develop the project.
